5 Year Fishing License in OK

Wednesday, March 25th, 2009

We were watching Outdoor Oklahoma this past Sunday morning, and they were discussing the Oklahoma 5 year hunting, fishing and combo license.

We’ve a young male relative that’s interested in the lifetime hunting and fishing license but it’s way out of his price range, so I thought I’d take a gander at the cost of the 5 year license.

The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation has these for sale and they start at $88 for a 5 year fishing OR hunting license or $148 for a combo license. These also includes the 5 year legacy permit. (Those are normally $5 each year.)

So the 5 year license does save a little money over the annual fees, about thirty percent. I’m thinking that this just might make a nice birthday gift for a coming 15 year old!
