Lake Poway in California has come up with a new angle on fishing. The city will be offering ‘monthly’ fishing passes beginning July 1st.
The fee will be $90 for and $42 for bass. The savings results from not having to stop and procure a permit every time they visit.
While some of us might think the monthly fees are a little pricey, they actually save the NC fisherman a little bit of moula.
Daily fishing permits are $6, so regular fisherman will save a considerable amount each month.
Stats show that sport fishermen make up the biggest percentage of fisherman with family fisherman make up the biggest market.
Summer hours are 7 a.m. to sunset on other days.
A state fishing license is not required at Lake Poway. There is a nonresident parking charge of $5 per auto, recreational vehicle or bus and $2 per motorcycles on weekends and holidays only.
