Did you know that there is a fishing lure collectors club? Me either!

The National Fishing Lure Collectors Club is a not for profit, and been around since 1976. They help foster an awareness of fishing tackle as a collectible and help collectors find, identify and trade old fishing gear.

The club also has information on all kinds of fishing gear, not just lures. You’ll find information on vintage rods and reels, advertising, minnow traps, buckets, creels and more.

If you collect old fishing gear or know someone who does, look into joining the NFLCC, the largest organization devoted to antique fishing paraphernalia. You can find them online at http://www.nflcc.org .
