Today’s spa enthusiasts have done one better. You can now visit select spas for a fishy pedicure. That’s right. You get to submerge your tootsies into a big tub of nibbling fishes.
They aren’t perch or trout, they’re called Doctor Fish, or Garra Rufa and they love dead skin cells. They are toothless, so they can’t bite you, but they nibble away at rough spots and calluses leaving you with nice smooth sexy feet.

The process began in Asia and has spread to the US, however, several states; including Texas, Washington, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Florida have outlawed the practice. The reasoning is cleanliness. There’s no way to clean and disinfect a pool of the foot nibbling fishes between clients.
