The upcoming Bassmaster classic on the Red River near Shreveport will be filled with fifty men vying for the $500,000 first prize, and one lady.
Australian Bain-Moore is the first woman to qualify. She won the first WBT tourney of the season at Lewisville Lake and still holds the WBT Angler of the year lead.

Some of the men contestants are less than thrilled but some welcome her with open arms. Women are starting to enjoy this sport so it only makes sense that women will join in and compete on a level equal to their male counterparts.
Her ‘current’ career fishing tournament winnings total over $130,000.
